| 전시소개 | '나'에 대한 고민, 그리고 나의 '신념'에 대해 형태의 초기 개념을 만들고자 선과 모양을 사용해 주요 특징의 균형과 위치를 설정했다. 개인의 경험과 이야기를 담은 창작을 갈구하며 주변 환경을 세세히 인식함으로써 아이디어를 얻고, 그림에서의 선을 정의하는 '선 예술'에 초점을 맞춘다. 이번 작품에서는 선, 형태, 공간을 사용했다. 먼저 단순한 선으로 물체의 윤곽을 그린 후 디테일을 가미하여 창작했다. 이 선들은 예술에서 주제의 형태를 만들어낸다. 공간은 작품의 중요부에 주의를 기울이도록 유도하고, 단순함과 솔직함을 겹겹이 쌓아 독특한 형태로 표현하였다. 잡지나 신문에서 볼 수 있는 간단한 만화와 삽화로부터 영감을 받아 움직임, 강조, 그리고 통일성으로 이번 전시 <ME AND MYSELF>를 마련했다. my work is highly emotional and passionate, they often attract audiences that resonate with strong emotions like depression and loneliness. However, the general public can still find my artwork amusing and aesthetically pleasing. I use a wide range of colors to add value and aesthetic value. The emotionally insensitive audiences are still attracted to my artwork for their beauty and talent. Nonetheless, my sole target audience is the emotionally polarized individuals who are battling particular Figure emotions I convey in my pieces. art is the unspoken words of how people feel and the conveyance of the current status quo in society. Artists use their imagination and creativity to explore various concepts and ideas. In particular, as an artist, I choose to explore identity. I choose to dig dip into what drives me to do what I do and to discover who I am and my role within society. I leverage apt techniques like sketching and mark-making techniques depending on the message I want to pass, to give life to my ideas. My specific workflow allows me to tackle every step of my artwork creation process with precision and intention.I used the elements of art which are line, color, and texture. I used lines in outlining the subject and color to show feelings and emotions. I used the texture as a way of giving a different vibe to the viewer, I want the audience to look at the work and make them think of what it's like to touch the object. I used the principles of art which are balance, emphasis, and movement. An idea of comparison between two subjects came to me after being inspired by a number of artists who have done self-portraits and have expressed their creativity through color. I don't have a political or economic message; this is more of a social message that demonstrates that we all have hidden sides and that it can be difficult for others to conceal their own secret sides when they are around. I feel like it is successful in a way that the creation process is a very sentimental thing for me to show and the result is my artwork. I wrote "me and myself" in English on the poster so that the audience could easily understand what I was trying to express. To sympathize with the emotions people felt in their lives, they can watch the exhibition at the Jiha gallery. |
작가소개 | 경기도 안양시에서 태어나 캐나다 헤밀턴으로 유학을 갔다. 토론토에서 지내며 한국에서 작가로 활동하고 있다. Park Jae-hyun was born in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, and moved to Hamilton, Canada, as an elementary school student to study.
